Vegvísir

Vegvísir is an Icelandic magical stave designed to help the bearer find the way through rough weather. It is derived from vegur (way, road, or path) and vísir (path or guide). If this sign is carried, one will never lose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.

​At the heart of the stave is a bindrune with Norman's initials: N and M.

N (Nauthiz): The spark of tenacity of human nature that keeps on trying

M (Mannaz): The Divine structure of intelligence in the human soul or psyche

​

Thus, Norman has a tenacious drive to examine, shape, and improve human nature and the human spirit so that we never lose our way in the world.
